Laconic
For some reason I keep thinking this word means lazy, sleepy or scatter-brained. THIS IS NOT word means. :)
Definition- 1. (adj) short 2. (adj) compact 3. (adj) concise
sentence- 1. I was once laconic during 8th grade, but now I became extremely taller than before. 2. On my essay test, i got a very low score on it because my essay had so much laconic body paragraphs.
I'm an AVID elective teacher and a writing teacher in Kapolei, Hawaii. I enjoy making jewelry, sewing, cooking/baking, organizing, home design, and all things paper related.

1. When writing a business letter, try to be as laconic as possible.
2. Michael talks about random things all the time, I just wish he could be more laconic.
3. Gilbert's laconic way of talking made him very businesslike.
