Quotidian

I read this in a NY Times news article. I was pretty sure I knew what it meant, but I wasn't sure.

    1.It was quotidian for the maids to clean the house at 3:00PM.
    2. My neighbor was quotidian to turn on her sprinklers in the front yard every Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
