Cloister

OK, I know what those word means, but I didn't until I was 19 so maybe you should find out if you don't know either!

    1.) A place of religious seclusion, as a monastery or convent.
    2.) a covered walk, especially in a religious institution, having an open arcade or colonnade usually opening onto a courtyard.
    3.) a courtyard, especially in a religious institution, bordered with such walks.

  3. The Friars became angry when a restuarant named itself the Oyster cloister.

    I like the comics where the man travels the world to find a monks cloister on top of the mountain to find the meaning of life and findong out it is something super lame.

    They redecorated the cloister with new stepping stones and potted plants.
    The cloister was silent, tranquil, and inhabited by monks.

    -any quiet, secluded place.
    -life in a monastery or convent.
    -a covered walk in a religious institution.

    1. The cloister reminded me of my home because it was filled with the feeling of calm and tranquility.
    2. My friend found a cloister in an abandoned field.
